| Your opponent chokes you with two hands from behind. | Grab your opponent's hands, placing your thumbs on the back of his hands. Turn his hands inward (so your thumbs go from pointing down, to pointing up) as you lift his hands. |

You must react quickly when your opponent grabs you from behind. You have limited time when you're being choked, and you must surprise your opponent in order to be able to break his grip and take him down.
