Move of the Week for the week of September 22, 1997
As your opponent steps in and punches with the right hand, step left with your left leg, executing a right hand outside defense. Grab his right arm with your right hand, and throw a right leg side kick to his ribs.
Recoil your kick and throw a round kick to the mid-section. Round kick to the head.
As you step down with your right leg, throw a left hand ridge hand to your opponent's neck. You're still controlling his right arm. As you step with your left leg (to face the same direction as your opponent), turn your opponent's arm so his palm is up.
Pull his right arm down with the joint on your left shoulder, breaking the arm. Bring the arm over your head, and break on your right shoulder.
Step back with your right leg, lifting your opponent off the ground with your right hip. Finish the takedown. When he hits the ground, finish with an appropriate technique and back away.

This technique is good for showing off crisp kicks. Make sure you position yourself, so you have room to extend your kicks (if you're doing it for demo). Otherwise, drive the kicks through your opponent. As always, be careful with your partner's elbow, and have fun with the takedown.
