| Stand ready, facing your opponent | As your opponent steps in and punches with the left hand, step forward with your right leg. Use your left hand to deflect the punch inward and bring your right arm over his left arm, hooking underneath. |

| With your right arm hooked on his left arm, pivot counter clockwise on your right leg, striking with your left elbow in his back. | Pivot back clockwise on your right foot, reaching your right arm behind your opponent's back and hooking behind his head. |

| Drive your left knee into his head as you pull his head down with both hands. | Step down with your left leg in front. You should have your opponent's arm hooked tight with your right hand, and his head pushed down with your left. |

| Pivot your right hip forward, forcing your opponent into a roll. You'll be pulling down on his head to help with the roll. | Continue with the takedown. |

| Load for and execute a side kick to your opponent's head. | Back up and stay ready. |
Use caution when practicing this technique. You don't want to strike your partner in the back or knee them in the nose. I suppose it depends on how much you like your training partner. Make sure you get your head away from the initial punch. You don't want to walk into that first strike. Have fun, and write if you have questions or comments.
