| Drive your right wrist into the inside of your opponent's right elbow as you grab your opponent's right wrist with your right hand and fold his arm over. | As his arm folds, grab your own right wrist with your left hand (figure 4). Crank your opponent's arm back. He'll feel the pressure in his shoulder. Drive your hips to the ground, taking your opponent with you. |

| Place your right knee on your opponent, so he can't roll backwards out of the hold. Crank his shoulder and apply pressure to his wrist for submission. |
This is a great surprise self-defense technique. As in so many cases, your opponent goes from offensively minded and overconfident to the ground before he knows what has happened.
