| Face your opponent | As your opponent steps in and shoves you with both hands in your chest, come down with your left arm and up with your right arm to deflect his arms away. You may want to let him shove you once or twice to get the timing of his attack. |

| Drive down with a right elbow to your opponent's nose. | Grab your opponent's right wrist with your left hand, place your right hand on his right shoulder, and drive your right knee into his mid-section. |

| Holding his shoulder steady, lift your opponent's arm up and around in a circular motion for the takedown. Make sure that his elbow cannot bend, and that you pivot to facilitate the takedown. | Continue the takedown. |

If someone is shoving you, it's pretty easy to time their pushes in order to begin this move. When you send your partner's arms flailing, his momentum will bring him directly into you, so be ready. This will throw your opponent off balance physically and mentally.
