Move of the Week for the week of April 21, 1997
Your opponent grabs you from behind with a two handed choke Raise your left arm high and spin counter clockwise on your right foot. This should break the hold.
Continue wrapping your left arm over and under your opponent's arms until you have them trapped just above the elbow. Lean back slightly to help secure the hold. Right hand punch to the mid-section.
Right knee to the groin (optional). Move in closer to further disrupt your opponent's balance. Reach inside his right leg with your left leg and sweep his leg forward. Relax your hold as he falls.
The inside sweep will leave your opponent's groin open for the final strike. Reverse punch to the groin.

Your initial move has to be quick in order to surprise your opponent. Practice with your partner to see if he can escape after you've trapped his arms. If you're doing it correctly, you should be able to hold him very effectively.
