Move of the Week for the Week of April 19, 1999

Your opponent has you in a headlock with his right arm. Drop your weight, and roll on your right shoulder.  Your opponent will be pulled down with you, but will probably maintain the choke.
Put your right hand on your opponent's right thigh and work your way around so you're parallel with him.   Reach your left hand up to drive his chin back. Lift your left leg high to wrap around his throat.
Wrap your left leg around your opponent's throat.  Put your left foot behind your right knee. Bend your right leg to execute the choke, pull your opponent's right arm against your chest for an arm bar.
   
   
   
   

Like many grappling techniques, you can start from a standing position or on the ground.
