| Face your opponent | As your opponent steps in with his left hand, step forward and right, blocking forward with the right arm and back with the left to trap or break the arm |

| Deliver your right knee to the nerve center just above your opponent's left knee (on the left side) | Maintaining control of your opponent at all times, swing your right leg in front of your opponent and deliver a heel kick to the head (this could be a groin shot if you prefer) |

| Recoil your kick and deliver a left handed ridge hand to the neck as you step down | Begin the figure four arm lock for the takedown. Grab your opponent's right wrist with your right hand. Wrap your left arm over and then under your opponent's right arm, so your left hand grabs your own right wrist. Your opponent's arm will bend at the elbow. |

| Once the lock is in place, twist your body clockwise for the takedown. | Once on the ground you can apply pressure to the side of the neck with your left forearm (be careful) or to the right wrist simply by bending it and pushing your body weight forward. |

| Jump forward, executing a shoulder roll, and land on your feet. | Face your demoralized and defeated opponent in a fighting stance in case he wakes up. |
Although this technique was created for a testing situation,
there's a lot in here that would work in the street. The only thing I'd
take out is the high kick where your back is to your opponent. Try it out
and use the parts that you like. Go to the Move of the Week index page
and send me some email. We're getting lots of hits, and I want to know
what you think of the site. Thanks.
