Move of the Week for the week of February 17, 1997

Face your opponent As your opponent steps in and punches, step in and duck under the punch. Use your left hand to guard your face.
Throw a right forearm to your opponent's mid-section Pivot as you throw a left hand punch to the kidney or ribs
Reach over and pull back on your opponent's chest with your left hand as you pull forward and up on his right leg for the takedown Continue the takedown
Finish with any appropriate technique Remain ready as you back away from your opponent

I love this technique because the first shot to the midsection will double over just about anybody without causing serious damage (unless you aim short and bust a rib). Use extreme caution when practicing or using techniques that target the kidney. A hard shot could cripple your opponent.
