| Face your opponent in a ready position | As your opponent steps in and punches with the right hand, step in with your right leg and execute a double block to your opponent's strike. |

| Chop to both sides of your opponent's neck. | Grab the back of his head and pull him into a head butt. Remember to use the hard part of your head (top of forehead) against the soft part of his head (face) |

| Drive your right knee into his midsection or face as you continue to hold the back of his head. | Step back with your right leg, pulling the back of his neck down and towards you. |

| As your opponent falls, drive him to the ground with a hammer strike. | Finish with another hammer strike or other appropriate technique. |
Work on the details of this technique to ensure that you can control your opponent at all times, especially during the takedown. Be very careful not to head butt your partner during training.
