| Face your opponent | As your opponent steps in and punches, step forward and left with your left foot, ducking your opponent's blow and striking with your forearm into his stomach or ribs. |

| Raise your right knee and kick to the back of your opponent's right knee. | As your opponent goes to his knees, strike the back of his head with your right elbow, driving him to the ground. |

| Finish your opponent with a stomp or other appropriate technique. | Back away from your opponent, but remain ready. |
Use caution when practicing this technique in the studio and using it in a self-defense situation.
Many of these blows can cause serious, permanent injury to your opponent. This technique is an
example of someone turning a potential disadvantage into an advantage. The defender uses her
height (or lack thereof) to duck under the strike, and aims her counter-attacks at particularly weak
areas.
